Boston, Norton, and Russia

First of all, an apology to
devigaz. I did not have your number in my new cell, or I would've called while I was in town. Next time?
I had a meeting in Boston today, then got lost trying to get out of the damn city. On my "scenic route" I spotted an Eastern European market, and almost caused an accident in my haste to pull over. I bought: yummy Russian bread, some Russian chocolates, Russian tea cookies, and some kasha. See a pattern? It was nice to get to use some of my language skills, since it's been so long. I felt like a bumbling idiot as I stumbled over basic pleasantries, but the older woman behind the counter seemed affectionately amused.
Back on the road, I got terrifically lost again. (I'll skip the part about getting caught in the traffic jam caused bystupid pedestrians the Boston U homecoming football game.) Since I ended up nearby, I decided to stop by my old stomping grounds (aka "college"). It was nice to see the old campus- and the monstrosity of a dorm that has been added.
