Hard to believe our country would honor their holiday with a United States Stamp. This saddens me. Muslims complain that Christian holiday's etc. offends them. Hello...I am offended with this!!!, how about you?

Holiday postage stamp. Bull!
REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp when purchasing your stamps at the post office. To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.
REMEMBER to pass this along to every patriotic AMERICAN you know!!!
My response (which I kept short and sweet, despite the urge to point out all the fun things Americans have done in other parts of the world):
Not to start a flame war, but I am offended by this email- not the stamp!
This is not much different than the tactics of right-wingers when it comes to GLBT people- pick out a handful of ones who have "misbehaved" and act as if the entirety of the population is at fault. Jeffrey Dahmer does not represent all gay people, just as the terrorists who blew up Pan-Am flight 103 do not represent all Muslims.
Sorry, but I can't get behind you on this one.

I especially "liked" (note sarcasm) the one I got from my mother a couple years back that had pics of a deceased child holding a rosary and claiming something along the lines of, "oh she might have died in a horrific tragedy, but she's a *christian*, so it's ok.", to which point my head exploded and so did a nasty email back. Didnt stop the forwards from coming; which doesnt surprise me since she sends to anyone she emails, a link in her signature to aborted "babies"/fetuses, followed by scripture.
I guess some folks get baited by what ever emotion a forward is designed to bait and even the more "accepting" population can get caught up in the verbal diarrhea. Boo.
