So, yeah...

Yes, this guy was a bit heated. But comments posted all over the web (though we all know how reliable those can be) imply that people had not been able to ask questions. When this guy got his chance, he wanted to make sure he got all three in. And he felt a little background was necessary.

I see it all the time on t.v., on talk radio, at public forums. People who have felt their voice has not been heard or has been deliberately silenced. And when they *do* get the chance to speak, boy do they ever!

Does this make him a pain in the ass windbag? Perhaps. Does it mean he is (as a police officer clearly stated in another video) "inciting a riot"? Hardly.

Considering the state of our rights in this country, I expect this kind of reaction to tough questions. There are knee-jerk responses all over the media, in local, state and federal politics, in foreign policy.

But the response of the crowd is what terrifies me. When we sit back and watch things like this happen, we are giving our consent. When we choose not to speak out or call attention to wrongdoing, we give our stamp of approval to the events occurring. We send the message, "Go ahead- stomp those big boots all over our faces. We won't do anything about it."

Just close your eyes, sheeple, and shuffle along. The Constitution's just a useless piece of paper anyway, right?
