Just for the fun of it, I thought I'd post some pics of the monster spider I found while packing the other night in the old house... A few other random pics, too, for your amusement (including the neurotic parakeet, Kolya, and some cow art!)
*shudder* my arachnophobia is acting up again after seeing that first pic! Scary, scary, scary. That'd be the time when I'd start shouting "Kill it, kill it, kill it" and running around looking for someone braver than me to dispatch it to spider purgatory. Yes, i know they're good for houses, but still.. look at the size of the thing!!
Moo.. I love the cows they've got up around boston. I'll be sorry to see them go.
The cows remind me of a project they had in Seattle for a while.. all these crazy decorated pigs everywhere!
As for the spider, I captured him and released him outside. Crazy, I know. But I can't bring myself to kill a living creature- even one that scares the crap outta me :)
*shiver* Spiders are the one thing that will send me fleeing in terror from a room shrieking like a girl scout. I sure as hell couldn't take pictures of the things. At least, not unless they were being scraped off the bottom of a shoe. Dah, now I'm all crawly! *twitch*
